Legendary deli on the Lower East Side that assembles some of the most mouth-watering (and mouth-stretching) sandwiches in the city. That's half of my sandwich made with pastrami, a well-sliced cut of smoked beef, usually encrusted with peppercorns, on rye bread slathered with mustard ($12.95). Various pickled cucumbers (in the U.S., simply called pickles) are a traditional accompaniment.
